FAQ & COMPANY POLICIES


F. A. Q.

1) Do you offer taste tests?

We do offer taste tests, by appointment from Tues. to Thur. from
6pm-8pm Because of time constraints and costs associated with taste
tests we charge a $45.00 tasting fee of which 50% will be
deducted from your catering contract total at booking
time. For a more detailed tasting we can offer our $75 version.. Also note that we limit taste tests to two Entree choices
on one plate for sharing. Please keep in mind taste
tests are not meals. They are simply a tasting of a
possible serving at your event.

2) Do you have Referrals?

Yes, we do have referrals. We would also be more than
happy to offer contact numbers of past clients that we
have catered wedding receptions for, only after we
have received the approval from them to share their
contact information.

3) Are you Licensed, Insured & Where are you located?

Brown Brothers Catering our Licensed catering partner & Az U wish Events / Event planners are 100% Co-Insured Off Premise Caterer in Maricopa county ..we don't actually own a Wedding Hall or a resturaunt but strickly do our business from Commercial Kitchens ..We do work out of 3 Commercial kitchens 1 located just south of the Sky Harbor Airport, on Illiani street ..the 2nd one at the Phoenix University campus on 32nd & University and the 3rd one which is our primary Kitchen located in Chandler ..depending which part of town the event is being held.. but our initial kitchen is located at "The Waters Edge" on 1949 W. Ray Rd. Chandler AZ. 85224 SE Corner of Dobson and Ray.

4) Can I stop by your office/kitchen at anytime?

Unfortunately we can not gurantee that someone will
be in the office & kitchen at any time of the day.
Because of this, we scheldule appointments to meet
with clients and potential clients at the Venue of the event.

6) What is smallest amount of people you will cater for?

We will cater for as low as 4 guest and are
more than glad to offer our services.

7) Can we keep any left over food?

Any opened, perishable food that is left over from your
event at times may be kept providing that you sign the
required "RELEASE OF LIABILITY" form that states we
are not liable for any issues or illness that arise from
the improper storage or re-heating of the food. We
also require that you provide containers for any food
that you would like to keep. We can provide "to go"
containers at a nominal fee. Food may only be left with
the booking party and not with any guests.

8) Do you Do Sit Down Services?

We do Sit downs at an additional $4.95 per person as this type of service requires much more personnel and Staff to serve the food as a Sit down.. Note that
a "Buffet service" is different than a "Sit down" service which is a help yourself
arrangement verses in a sitdown..we Ser e all your guests as they sit down.


Booking and Cancellation Policies:

We require a non-refundable 20% deposit to lock in the date and price of
our services for all private events.
We book on a 1st come 1st serve basis on who's deposit we recieve first.

Your  deposit will be applied towards the final balance of your event.

Our services for any event is for 3 hours. These hours do not include our
set up or clean up time. The 3 hour time frame is simply "your" time for
your event. If you require additional time for our services there is a $150 per hour Fee to cover staff and overage costs.

Our payment terms are as follows. The total balance for your event is due (12)
days before your event & becomes non-refundable upon final payment and 15 days if you are paying by check.

In the case that the balance is not recieved within (12) days prior to the event,
Az U Wish shall have and excercise the right to cancel the date due to insufficient funds for the event via telephone, email or fax.

We will contact you at least 12-15 days before your event to finalize the headcount for your event over the phone as well as settling the final payment with any major Credit or debit card American Express, Discover, Diners Club, Master,Visa or by any arrangement that we have both agreed upon.

And at 12 or 15 days prior to your event you will need to provide a final count of guests that you would like to book and pay for, your menu choices decided and any rentals or additional services noted. We will then calculate your guest count by the per person price that was noted and agreed upon when the deposit was paid, calculate tax and add the 20% gratuity to give you a grand total. We will then deduct the deposit you paid and the remaining balance will be due at that time.

Any return checks are subject to a $30 NSF fee plus an additional 3% of your
bill and any additional fees incurred by us for the return of your check.

Credit Card payments will incur a one time $4.95 service charge.

At times it may be asked of you to write your check out to a specific name
instead of AZ U WISH, this will arise on occasion when you have not met the
12 0r 15 day payment policy and we cannot guarantee that your check will clear through normal banking procedures.

Unfortunately, we have had this situation arise in the past and have now safeguarded ourselves by our new terms.

After you have paid for your event and you realize that your guest count has
increased, you may contact us up to 24 hours in advance to add additional
guests to your event. Payment will be due immediately for these additional
guests by credit card or cash only. You may also make arrangements to pay
for these additional guests by CASH only the day of your event.

Az U Wish Events reserves the right to cancel a date & event if the balance is not  paid No later than (7) Business days prior to the event and can also cancel and  or reschedule the date reasonably with the customer due to any major conflicts, sickness, Liens absent staff due to any reasons or event issues of any kind, weather, Car Accidents, Fire, Floods, Tornados, Monsoons, War or any acts of God or issues related to or not to the customer within 30 days of an event and shall contact the customer by phone or email of the cancellation.
